Terms of Service
Effective: 2026-09-11 · Lootix
Welcome to Lootix. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service & Our Role
Lootix provides AI-based appraisal and price references for Diablo II: Resurrected items, plus in-game trade matching and messaging between players. All valuations are for reference only and constitute no guarantee. The Service's AI appraisal features are built on third-party AI models; Lootix is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any AI model provider.
We are not a party to your trades. Lootix provides listing, matching, negotiation, and messaging tools; the actual delivery of items and in-game currency is completed by users themselves, inside the game. The Service does not hold, custody, receive, or deliver any game item or currency, and does not act as, offer, or assign any form of middleman or escrow service — an intermediary is still a trust trade, merely shifting the risk onto a third person, and we cannot vouch for anyone's integrity. Anyone claiming to be an "official Lootix middleman" or "official support collecting your items" is a scammer; please report them immediately.
2. No Real-Money Trading (RMT)
The Service is strictly limited to in-game currency and items (e.g. runes, in-game goods). Buying or selling any game account, item, or currency for real money is strictly prohibited, as is using gift cards, points, cryptocurrency, boosting services, art commissions, or any other out-of-game goods or services as consideration. Doing so violates Blizzard's Terms of Service and may result in your game account being banned. Violators will be removed and suspended.
3. User Responsibilities & Trading Risk
- Provide accurate information and keep your account and password secure. The Service will never ask you for your game account password.
- Do not post fraudulent, illegal, harassing, or misleading content.
- Trades are arranged between users. The Service only provides matching, and does not guarantee the other party's performance, the authenticity of any item, or the accuracy of any valuation. Whether to trade with a given person is your decision and your risk.
- Always complete delivery using the in-game trade window. Dropping items on the ground, splitting a trade into multiple stages, or delivering first and waiting for the other party to reciprocate are all high-risk methods; we cannot verify what happened in such cases and cannot assist.
- Complete the offer/accept flow on the platform before trading, and keep important agreements in the in-app chat. Agreements made or changed off-platform (messaging apps, voice chat, other websites) are outside the scope of what we can review.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following are prohibited; violations are handled under Section 8:
- Fraud and theft: obtaining another user's items, currency, or account by deception; phishing links; impersonating the platform or its staff; using someone else's account.
- Real-money trading: see Section 2.
- Middleman, escrow, or trust trades: offering, soliciting, or accepting any form of intermediary or custody service.
- Illegitimately obtained items: duplicated ("duped") items, or items obtained via cheats, modified game files, or exploits, may not be listed or traded; discussing, requesting, or distributing such methods is also prohibited.
- Market and reputation manipulation: see Section 6.
- Spam and abuse: repetitive listings, mass invalid offers, flooding another user's notifications, or misusing the report and feedback features.
- Evading enforcement: using alternate or others' accounts to circumvent a suspension, block, or feature restriction.
- Inappropriate content: pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or threatening content; you may not use the Service (including its AI appraisal features) to process or distribute unlawful or harmful material.
- Personal information: posting or soliciting another person's real name, age, address, or contact details.
This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to determine what conduct constitutes a violation and to act accordingly.
5. Trade Disputes & the Scope of What We Can Do
Please understand the following boundaries. They describe the actual limits of our capability, not merely a disclaimer:
- The Service cannot restore, reverse, or compensate any in-game item, currency, or account. Game assets are controlled entirely by Blizzard Entertainment; we have no ability to access or modify game data. Items lost to scams, theft, or mistaken delivery cannot be recovered by us, and we do not provide reimbursement, replacement, or compensation of any kind.
- Per Blizzard's published policy, game support likewise does not assist with trade scams and does not restore items lost in trades. All in-game trading is done at your own risk.
- We may, but are not obliged to, investigate. You may raise a dispute on a trade created through the Service; we will freeze that trade, notify both parties, and review it against both statements and the on-platform record.
- Outcomes apply only within the platform. We may correct a trade's recorded status (mark it completed, cancelled, or voided back to available), remove violating content, adjust or remove reviews, and restrict or terminate accounts. "Voiding" or "reverting" means the platform record returns to the state as if the trade had not occurred; it does not mean and does not imply the return of any in-game item.
- Scope and deadline: we review only trades created through the Service with records retained on-platform. Disputes must be raised within 14 days of the trade being created. Beyond that, or without an on-platform record, we cannot verify what happened and will not review the matter.
- Our review is an internal platform measure to maintain order. It is not legal arbitration or adjudication and does not affect any rights you may pursue against the other party. Disputes between you and other users are yours to resolve.
6. Reviews & Reputation
- Reviews may only be left by both parties to a completed trade, once each per trade.
- The following are prohibited: writing false or retaliatory reviews; using alternate or others' accounts to leave false reviews; using alternate accounts to inflate your own rating; creating fake listings or fake offers to manipulate item prices.
- Do not publicly call out or accuse other users. If you believe someone violated the rules, use the report function. Naming users publicly, rallying others against them, or spreading unverified accusations in listings, shop descriptions, chat, profiles, or reviews is itself a violation — a reputation system that becomes a tool for mutual defamation is worthless to everyone.
- We may remove violating reviews and suspend accounts that manipulate reputation. Ratings and badges are computed by the system from actual trade records; requests for manual adjustment are not accepted.
7. Reports & Evidence
- Use the in-app report function (available for listings, users, and messages) and describe the time, the party, and what happened.
- Evidence must be uncropped, unedited, complete screenshots. Cropped, zoomed, retouched, stitched, or illegibly low-quality images will not be accepted, nor will material unrelated to the report.
- In-app chat records are retained by the Service, and we read the full conversation for the trade under review — so keeping important agreements in the in-app chat is the single most effective way to protect yourself.
- Knowingly filing a false report, or fabricating or altering evidence, is itself a violation and is handled under Section 8.
- Please cooperate during an investigation. Blocking staff, refusing to respond, or using enforcement outcomes to threaten others will be taken into account.
- Outcomes are communicated only to the parties involved. We do not disclose to third parties what action was taken against another user, and you should not publicly discuss or circulate enforcement outcomes.
8. Enforcement & Appeals
- Enforcement may include: content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent suspension, and account termination.
- We do not use a fixed strike system (e.g. "three strikes and you're out"). Action is based on the severity and context of the violation, not merely how many times it occurred; scams, account theft, and phishing may result in permanent suspension on the first occurrence. Our internal enforcement criteria are not published.
- Temporary suspensions lift automatically when the period ends. Permanently suspended accounts cannot sign in.
- If you believe an action was taken in error, email [email protected] with your account name and any relevant evidence. Creating a new account to evade a suspension voids your appeal, and the new account will also be suspended.
9. Lootix Pro Subscriptions & Payments
- Subscription & auto-renewal: Lootix Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered as a monthly plan (billed every month) or a yearly plan (billed every year). Prices are in US dollars (USD) and shown on the purchase page. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period and you are charged until you cancel.
- Activation & billing period: Pro activates immediately upon payment. Each period runs from the payment date — one month for the monthly plan, one year for the yearly plan — and renews on the same calendar day (or the last day of the month where that day does not exist).
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. If you subscribed on the website, cancel under Me → Subscription or through the subscription management page provided by the checkout provider; if you subscribed in the iOS app, cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the current period; no further charges are made and the current period is not refunded pro rata.
- Payment processing: For website subscriptions, payments are handled by the authorized payment provider (Merchant of Record) named at checkout, which issues receipts and handles billing and applicable taxes. For iOS in-app subscriptions, payments are handled by Apple under its terms. We never store your card details.
- Failed payments: If a renewal charge fails, the provider retries for a period of time; Pro access may be kept during the retry window. If the retry ultimately fails, the subscription ends at the close of the current period and Pro features are turned off. You may resubscribe at any time.
- Refunds: Pro is a digital service delivered immediately upon payment. If you have not used the AI appraisal feature, you may request a full refund of your first subscription payment within 7 days by emailing [email protected]; refunds are processed within 7 business days. Renewal payments are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Refunds for iOS in-app subscriptions are requested from Apple under Apple's policies. Where local law grants you non-waivable refund rights, those prevail.
- Bonus days: Pro days earned through quests, invites, events or otherwise are held while you have an active subscription and are applied automatically after the subscription ends.
- Price changes: If we change subscription prices, we will notify you by email or in the app before the change takes effect and obtain your consent where required by local law or the purchase channel. You may cancel before the new price applies; the period you have already paid for is not affected.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Valuations and market data are estimated from historical trade samples and are for reference only; they are not a price guarantee or investment advice. AI appraisal results may be wrong; the actual item in-game prevails.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: disputes, scams, or non-performance between users; the loss, damage, or irrecoverability of any in-game item, currency, or account; inaccuracies in valuation, appraisal, or market data; content or conduct posted by other users; or service interruptions, data delays, or errors. Your sole remedy relating to your use of the Service is to stop using it. Where local law grants you non-waivable rights, those prevail.
11. Intellectual Property
Diablo II: Resurrected and related names and imagery are property of Blizzard Entertainment. This is an unofficial third-party tool and is not affiliated with Blizzard.
12. Community Guidelines
The Service also publishes Community Guidelines & Safe Trading Guide, which explain common scam patterns, safe trading steps, and the reporting process in concrete terms. That document forms part of these Terms and carries equal force.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app.
