Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Lootix ("the Service") collects, uses, and protects your personal data. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: email, username, avatar; if you sign in with Google or Apple, the identifier and email returned by that provider.
• Usage data: item appraisals you create, listings, offers, chat messages, wishlists, and your device push token (to deliver notifications).
• Technical data: login timestamps, IP address (for abuse prevention and rate limiting), app version, and device platform.

2. How We Use Data

• To provide core features: sign-in, item appraisal, trade matching, and in-app messaging.
• To send push and in-app notifications about trades, offers, and wishlist matches (can be disabled in Settings).
• To prevent abuse and fraud and to keep the platform secure.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your username and avatar are visible to other users in trading and chat contexts. Sensitive data such as your email is not made public. We may comply with lawful requests from authorities.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service uses Google and Apple sign-in, Expo push notifications, cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), and third-party AI models (to process the item screenshots you submit for appraisal). Each has its own privacy policy; screenshots submitted for appraisal are used solely to produce your appraisal result.

5. Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account anytime via "Settings → Delete Account". On deletion we anonymize your personal data and revoke all sessions; for data integrity, your past trade records are retained in anonymized form.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13.
